BETONVAL READYCONCRETE, INC. (BRI), a joint venture between Betonval SPA of Florence, Italy and La Paz Holdings and Development Corporation was founded in 1975. Today, BRI is the leading producer of ready-mix concrete for infrastructure and building construction. In 1996, BRI became a wholly owned subsidiary of the La Paz Group.

BRI has five (5) batching plant locations within Metro Manila, the Calabarzon and Cebu with a total rated capacity of 600 cu.m. per hour and one (1) sand screening plant in Floridablanca, Pampanga. There are also three (3) standby portable concrete batching plants with a rated capacity of sixty (60) cu. m. per hour each that can be installed and commissioned in seven (7) days. BRI has recently acquired a new Eurotec P172 Portable “Wet type” computerized fully automated Concrete Batching Plant with rated 72m3 per hour concrete output.

BRI’s fleet of equipment are maintained by workshops within each branch equipped with the necessary tools and machines by well-trained mechanics. It also maintains its own chemical and physical testing laboratories with modern equipment to test and ensure quality standards for cement, aggregate and sand for its concrete mix production.

BRI is committed to upgrade all its production and support facilities. In 1998 BRI was awarded an ISO 9002 certificate for marketing, manufacturing and distribution of ready mix concrete, a first in the industry.BRI is currently undergoing re-certification for ISO 9002 since all major head office facilities have been upgraded.
