Tamayo’s Catering Services and Restaurant, was brought into existence by the untiring efforts of its then proprietor, Mr. Steve Tamayo. A full-blooded Bulakeño, who brought with him a vast wealth of experiences in the line of Food and Beverage as he worked for Hyatt Hotel in Manila as Assistant Manager in Café Al Fresco, Assistant Manager in Riviera Restaurant at the Heritage Hotel Manila, Manager at the La Patisserie Coffee Shop in Kuwait and Assistant Manager in Las Palma Restaurant Kuwait International Hotel, and in le Meredien Hotel and Hilton Hotel. With the enormous experiences, skills and ideas, he positively builds his own name in the Catering business bringing with him a shining armor – Customer Satisfaction & Service Standard.
It was established in December 1995 as single proprietorship with only a handful of employees (and friends from the industry) that kept faith in the striving company. Within a very short period of time, it has already etched its name as the fastest growing, most sought-after caterer in the metropolis today. And in August 1998, with its unprecedented growth unabated (now with a pool of 7 vehicles and numerous branches), it has finally registered a corporation at the Securities and Exchange Commission to better serve its growing clientele.
